Website terms
These terms apply to Bay Admin website packages. Version 1, 11 October 2026.
Our trader name and address are on our legal page. Contact [email protected]. Bay Admin is not VAT registered.
1. What you get
- Starter (£299): a one-page website.
- Standard (£599): up to 5 pages, plus forms and Google Business Profile set-up (needs your access).
Both include mobile-friendly design, a contact link or form, basic search set-up (page titles and descriptions), and connection to a domain you own. The exact pages and features are listed in your order confirmation. Anything not listed there is extra and needs a written quote.
2. Revisions
One round of revisions is included: send your changes in one list within 7 days of seeing the draft. Further rounds or new features are quoted separately.
3. Timelines
We aim to deliver the first draft within 7 days (Starter) or 14 days (Standard) of receiving all your content, and the finished site within 5 working days of your revision list. Dates are estimates. Delays caused by late content or feedback move the dates on.
4. Your content
You supply the text, logos, photos and any other material (your content). You confirm that you own it or have permission to use it, and that it's accurate, lawful and doesn't infringe anyone's rights. You're responsible for your own legal pages and claims (for example privacy, pricing, allergen or trading information). We can add template text, but it isn't legal advice. If you're buying for your business and anyone claims your content infringes their rights, you'll cover our reasonable costs of dealing with that claim.
5. Who owns the site
Once you've paid in full, you own the finished site's design and content made for you, and we'll hand over the files or access on request. Stock images, fonts, plugins and platform features stay under their own licences. We may show the site in our portfolio unless you tell us not to.
6. Hosting and domain
Your domain and hosting accounts are in your name and paid by you, unless your order says otherwise. We're not responsible for third-party platforms' outages, price changes or policies.
7. Care plan (£20 a month)
Covers small text or image updates, up to 30 minutes a month, uptime checks and a monthly backup. It renews monthly until cancelled. Cancel any time by replying to your receipt or emailing us, and it stops at the end of the current paid month, with no further charges. Unused time doesn't roll over.
8. Payment
Website packages are paid in full before work starts. Care is paid monthly in advance.
9. Cancellation and refunds
- Business clients (contractual): full refund if you cancel before we start work. After work starts, we refund the price minus a fair amount for work done. After delivery, no refund, but we'll fix anything we got wrong at no charge.
- If you're buying as a consumer (not for your business), you can cancel within 14 days of ordering (CCR 2013 reg 29). If you ask us to start within those 14 days, confirm by email, in these words: "I ask Bay Admin to start now. I understand that if I cancel within 14 days I'll pay for work done, and that once the service is fully performed I lose my right to cancel." If you then cancel, we refund the price minus a proportionate amount for work done (reg 36).
- None of this affects your legal rights.
10. Our responsibility to you
- We'll carry out the work with reasonable care and skill.
- We aren't liable for loss of profit, business, data or goodwill, or for problems caused by your content, third-party platforms or changes you or others make.
- Our total liability under these terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
- Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit.
11. Data protection
We handle any personal data in your site content (for example staff names) only to do this job, on your instructions, as your processor (UK GDPR Art 28). We keep it confidential and secure, don't share it except with our tools (email, storage), and delete our working copies 30 days after delivery unless you ask otherwise. 12. General
We're an independent supplier. These terms, plus your order confirmation, are the whole agreement. They're governed by the law of England and Wales.
