Privacy

This page is about the Bay Admin website. It is not a privacy policy for your pub, café or hotel.

This site does not use tracking cookies and does not run analytics. There is no account to create here, and the pages do not ask for your name.

On the pub notices checklist, ticks can be saved in this browser’s local storage so they are still there if you come back. That stays on your device. You can clear it with the button on that page, or by clearing the site’s data in the browser. Nothing from those ticks is sent to Bay Admin.

Purchases are handled by Gumroad, on their website. Their privacy notice is here: Bay Admin privacy notice on Gumroad.

Questions: hello@bayadmin.co.uk.

If we emailed you

Who we are. Bay Admin. Trader details are on our Legal page. Email: hello@bayadmin.co.uk
Not VAT registered.

If you contact us. Emails to hello@bayadmin.co.uk pass through Cloudflare's email routing service and are stored in our Google Gmail inbox. We use your message only to answer it.

How we found your email. If we emailed you about a free copy of our kit, we found your address on your organisation’s own public website or contact page. We only use addresses published for business, press or enquiry contact.

What we keep. Your organisation’s name, the email address, the page we found it on, and the dates we emailed you and you replied. Nothing else. We don’t track email opens and we don’t build profiles.

Why we can do this. Legitimate interests (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f)): telling relevant organisations and press about a product for their members or readers. We’ve weighed this against your interests: we only use published business contacts, we send one email, and you can stop us with one reply.

How long we keep it. For 12 months from our last email, or until you opt out if that comes first. After that we delete it.

Your right to object. You can tell us to stop at any time. Just reply and say so, and we won’t email you again. Your right to object to direct marketing is absolute: we won’t ask why. If you opt out, we keep only your email address and the date you opted out, on a “do not contact” list, so we never email you again by mistake.

Who else handles it. Gumroad (our shop, orders and payments), Kit (Kit Inc., USA, our email list), Cloudflare (domain and email routing), Google (our email inbox) and Netlify (website hosting). These services may process data outside the UK under UK-recognised safeguards.

Your other rights. You can ask to see, correct or delete what we hold by emailing us. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office: ICO: make a complaint.
